There is no one-size-fits-all approach to autism support. Some children benefit from speech therapy, while others may need sensory support, behavioural guidance, or school accommodations. Support plans are built around strengths, challenges, and family goals — and they often evolve over time.

How Therapy Is Delivered

Home - Based Services

School - Based Supports

Therapy in professional therapy offices or clinics, lead by certified therapists

Therapy Delivered at home by a therapist, coach or educator - personalized in your child's natural environment

Therapy is integrated into school or classroom settings, sometimes during the school day

Therapy services focus on building skills that support communication, independence, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. Services may be delivered privately or through publicly funded programs.

These Programs are available to families across Ontario through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP)

Includes:

Foundational Family Services

Free Workshops, coaching, and support for parents

Core Clinical Services

Funded therapies (ABA, speech, OT, mental health)

Helps children transition into school

Urgent Response Services 

Short - term help during a crisis situations
